With only a handful of fantasy surprises in Week 1, the Week 2 Cosby Sweaters player rankings do not relfecf monster changes. However, one that player that shot up QB Rankings is Skins’ rookie QB Robert Griifin III, who had no problem torching and subsequently embarrassing the bitter Saints in their Sean Payton-less debut.
Calvin Johnson remains at the top of the WR rankings but faces a significantly more difficult matchup at San Francisco, fresh off their own impressive victory over Green Bay and their potent passing attack. The hottest waiver wire pick up of the week, Kevin Ogletree makes his Cosby Sweaters debut after taking full advantage of a thin Giants’ secondary and another Redskin, rookie Alfred Morris, lauded by Griffin all offseason, took advantage of Shanahan’s confidence with a big game against New Orleans.
David Akers will remain the top ranked kicker until someone else booms a 63-yard field goal at Lambeau, a kick that may have been the most impressive regular season kick in NFL history.
