In case you missed it Thursday (don’t worry, if you did, your mom will get around to asking you about it sometime this weekend), the most aggravating viral phenomenon in recent memory involved a stupid dress and the stupid debate over the color of said dress. The black and blue dress appeared to some people — insane people — as white and gold. Fortunately, science and Amazon proved the dress was, in fact, black and blue, and our brief national nightmare was over.
Well, over for everyone except the Brooklyn Nets, who appear to have split off into “Team White and Gold” and “Team Black and Blue”. We’re really hoping this disagreement doesn’t derail their season (the 23-32 Nets are in a virtual tie for the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference). However, the good news is their uniforms are white and black, and it’s really tough to confuse that combo with anything else.
