Last night BET aired it’s annual hip hop awards show and, as always, the cyphers were the main attraction. Coming into the evening, Kendrick Lamar’s Drake-dissing, “Control”-addressing verse leaked itself onto the internet and had the blogosphere going gorillas in anticipation of the big show.
Did Kendrick and his Black Hippy Crew cohorts end up taking the crown for this year’s best cypher or would some other crew’s rhyming upstage the Top Dawgs? Click through the slides to find out.
