Matt Doherty, aka Averman in The Mighty Ducks trilogy, dropped a bomb on the folks at Quack Attack during a podcast this week. The quirky, but beloved guy that appeared in all three films was asked if there’s any potential for a fourth installment of arguably the greatest sports trilogy of all-time. And Averman dropped a bomb:
I do know that there are definitely people that are working on that.
WHOA!
This could be a stunning development, particularly considering that Mighty Ducks 3 is nearly 20 years old (1996), but one that will have people in a frenzy if confirmed. Mighty Ducks 4 has been teased for years, but rumors have heated up recently, especially after Joshua Jackson’s (Charlie Conway) comments three weeks ago and this only reinforces legitimacy behind the whispers.
