Billionaire Elon Musk has emerged as quite a controversial figure as he has become a source of misinformation and right-wing conspiracy theories, particularly after he purchased Twitter, which he has rebranded as X. But despite the controversies, it sounds like he has the support of A-list actor Morgan Freeman.
During a recent interview with CNBC, Morgan Freeman revealed that he is “a huge fan” of Elon Musk, who is the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla as well as the CTO of X Corp, formerly Twitter.
“I’m a huge fan of Elon Musk. I think he’s got the most incredibly forward-thinking ideas about where we can go technologically,” Freeman said. What he’s done, nobody else has ever done.”

Freeman seemed most impressed by what SpaceX has been able to accomplish as the company has revolutionized space travel under Musk’s leadership.
“He’s landed a rocket ship so it’s reusable. You know what a feat that is? Now we’re taking off, we’re going to be going to Mars delivering stuff to people who are going to be settling there – just like they did the old west – and bringing those ships back and landing them and reloading them,” Freeman explained during the interview.
It’s clear that Freeman is a Musk fan.
