The Brooklyn Nets may not currently be playing up to expectations (Exhibit A) but the team is still hard not to love. Today, Adidas rolled out a shoe (Crazy 8 Brooklyn Edition) which pays homage to the Nets but more importantly to the city of Brooklyn. We are not mad (at all) at these kicks. Images below.
According to Adidas:
Designed to pay homage to the Nets and Brooklyn, the black and white colorway features a map of the subway lines that surround Barclays Center on the sockliner and “Brooklyn” stitched into the ankle. Brooklyn Nets logos are displayed on the tongue and the heel while the herringbone pattern on the upper and laces replicates Barclays Center’s unique court pattern.
The Crazy 8 Brooklyn Edition is available for $125 on December 6 at Foot Locker, Finish Line and the Nets Team Shop at Barclays Center.
