There’s a new betting favorite for the NFL Coach of the Year Award, and he resides in the Windy City. Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus is now the current odds-on favorite to win Coach of the Year at DraftKings SportsBook.
DraftKings currently lists Eberflus with +900 odds to win the coveted award. In simpler terms, that’s a 9-to-1 shot for Eberflus, currently the shortest odds to win the honor at that sportsbook.
Interestingly, it’s not a consensus though. FanDuel still lists Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh as their betting favorite. Eberflus isn’t too far behind at FanDuel, currently listed with +1000 odds to win the award. There is some differentiation between the other coaches on the list, including Robert Saleh. The Jets head coach has closer odds at DraftKings (+1300) than he does FanDuel (+2000) by a lot.
If you’d like to take your chances at betting on Eberflus, please, of course, do so responsibly. Futures bets can be fun, especially if you can sniff out a longshot. In the NFL, that’s typically a decent move, considering how frequently teams can go from worst to first. But it’s one that comes with a lot of challenge and skill. You know what they say: If gambling was easy, everyone would do it, and everyone would be successful at it.
The sports world had much to say about this betting odds shift and whether or not the Bears coach could make it happen.
Kind of funny Eberflus has some of the highest odds for winning Coach of the Year and also for being the 1st coach fired next season https://t.co/BAeRudFp5K

He won 7 games last year with a kick returner as a qb.
This is 100% a real possibility https://t.co/atUtBkPbpC
