I was working at a movie studio when GellieMan’s “Aicha” came out. This video predates YouTube. Yes, Virginia, the internet existed before YouTube.
I must have watched this a thousand times, and have always had so many questions. What’s with the terrible flying text? Who is Aicha? Did GellieMan write this himself or is it a cover of a pop song I (thankfully) never heard. Where did he get those sick moves? Why didn’t he re-shoot the bed sequence when he realized he had left his Disney Baby bedsheets on? Is this a snippet of a much larger video that I have (unfortunately) never found?
I am starting to think this kid is actually our German video editor, but I cannot prove that yet.
Ladies and gentlemen, GellieMan’s “Aicha”.
UPDATE: SOME QUESTIONS ANSWERED!
