Penny Hardaway and Gatorade nailed this one.
The third overall pick in the 1993 NBA Draft and four-time NBA All-Star visited Chaminade College Prep in St. Louis on Friday morning for a special ceremony to honor senior basketball player Jayson Tatum as the Gatorade National Player of the Year Award. But instead of simply giving him the award, Hardaway and Gatorade had some fun,
They set up a fake press conference and put Hardaway in the crowd as a disguised beat writer. He then ambushed Tatum, a Duke commit, in the school auditorium to deliver the awesome news.
