Rapper Lil B is something of a sports-supernatural phenomena who descends from on-high to seek vengeance on those who cross him with the BasedGod’s Curse.
Earlier this year, Rockets star James Harden fell to the BasedGod’s Curse for “stealing” Lil B’s cooking dance without properly crediting the Bay Area rapper for it. After the curse was placed on Harden, the Rockets were dispatched from the playoffs by the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals. In the elimination game of that series, Harden broke the record for most turnovers in a playoff game while Lil B was in attendance. Coincidence? Most assuredly not.
So, when Atlanta Braves outfielder Cameron Maybin decided to do the cooking dance during the Braves’ July 3rd game against the Phillies, Atlanta knew it had to proselytize before the Altar of Lil B and beg for his mercy.
Shoutout to @LILBTHEBASEDGOD for letting us borrow the Lil B Cooking Dance. pic.twitter.com/9HnBINVc7A
