The Toronto Raptors honored Vince Carter Wednesday night with a gesture that many people would deem ill-advised: a pre-game video tribute.
See, Vince isn’t very popular in Toronto after he famously quit on the team and demanded a trade roughly ten years ago (we covered all that here on Monday). Finally, after all these years, Vince was showered with cheers from the crowd and wept in response. Then, because Raptors fans can’t let Vince get away with a full night of good vibes, they went right back to booing him once the game started.
