While Caitlin Clark undoubtedly would have liked to make the United States Women’s Basketball team for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the fact that she was left off of the roster allowed her some much-needed rest time in the middle of a brutal WNBA season. And while she has certainly made the most of it, there is one thing that she claims she has not gotten enough of – the sun.

During a recent press conference, Caitlin Clark was asked if there was anything that she felt “deprived” of that she has not been able to enjoy during the season but got to embrace during the break. Clark answered the question by indicating that she has not spent nearly enough time in the sun recently.

However, she quickly acknowledged that didn’t really change during the recent break she has been enjoying.

“The sun,” Clark said with a laugh. “I’m still super pale. I’m still deprived of the sun.”

Obviously, Clark has not had all that much time to enjoy the sunshine this offseason as she has spent her days training and improving her game in the gym.

Perhaps in the offseason, she will be able to finally enjoy some sunshine.
