Since joining the WNBA this season, rookie Angel Reese has quickly emerged as a legitimate superstar in the league, and it sounds like she’ll be taking her talents to a new basketball league beginning in 2025.
According to a report from Sportico, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has committed to participate in Unrivaled Basketball, an upcoming three-on-three women’s basketball league that was co-founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart
“Angel Reese is joining the basketball league co-founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart. Reese is the 10th athlete and first WNBA rookie to commit to Unrivaled,” Sportico said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
The league is set to officially launch in 2025, and it sounds like the new rookie sensation will be a part of the project.
During her first few months in the WNBA, Angel Reese has blossomed into a legitimate superstar, making the WNBA All-Star team as just a rookie and breaking the WNBA record for most consecutive double-doubles in a career.
It will certainly be interesting to see how her stardom continues to grow and how she fares in this new three-on-three basketball league once it begins next year.
