On Sunday afternoon, Angel Reese had a massive and dominant performance to lead the Chicago Sky to victory over Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. And she was not shy about celebrating her success during an on-court interview after the game.

Angel Reese had perhaps the best game of her WNBA career on Sunday afternoon as she finished with 25 points and 16 rebounds to notch her eighth consecutive double-double. And she did not hold back when she was asked to respond to that performance after the game.

“I’m a dog, you can’t teach that,” she told ESPN’s Holly Rowe. “I’m going to go out and do whatever it takes to win every single night. My teammates rely on my energy. So being able to continue that energy even if we’re down, even if we’re up, that’s what I do.”

The victory gave the Sky the victory in what has become a budding rivalry between the Sky and the Fever, especially considering the longstanding rivalry between Reese and Clark. But Reese did not want to spend much time discussing that rivalry after the game.

“It’s just competition,” Reese said after the game. “I mean, they still got us, they are one up on us. So I’m just happy for the team. And I want to make it about us. Chicago, they came out tonight, so I’m just happy for us.”

The first three matchups have certainly been hard-fought, the two teams will not meet again until Aug. 30.
