It appears that the Brian Urlacher experiment at Fox Sports is over, at least for now. The network announced today that immediately Brian would be leaving the network to spend more time with his family. Urlacher spoke with 670 The Score about his decision this morning:
“You know I really enjoyed working with the guys on Fox Sports 1. I liked the shows but the travel got to me quite a bit. I called the producers and I called the guys who run all the shows and talked to them and they were very understanding of my situation. That was the main reason for me not doing it anymore and they were cool about it.
"This is a tough decision, but right now it’s best for me to dedicate my time to my family,” Brian Urlacher said of leaving Fox gig. #Bears
