The scheduled fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is sure to be one of the hottest tickets in Las Vegas.
However, demand for the tickets has seemed to catch even the most savvy of Las Vegas insiders by surprise.
Initial reports indicate that one will need to have plenty of money if they even want to be considered for tickets.

Most of the tickets are in the hands of MGM, so unless you have a connection to the fight AND a quarter of a million dollars to put up as credit, you might as well quit trying right now.
“Nobody is going to get these tickets without paying for them,” Top Rank’s Bob Arum told ESPN 1100 in Las Vegas. “The type of calls I’m getting, it’s unbelievable. I could spend the rest of the day on the phone and sell out the entire place.
“The biggest block (of tickets) is with MGM. When I get a call from a celebrity, or I assume when Mayweather gets a call from a celebrity, we immediately send them to MGM and tell them to fill the order.”
As if that speculation wasn’t obscene enough, Scott Sprietzer of ESPN Las Vegas is reporting that one will need to have the $250,000 on hand to have a chance at a ticket to the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight.

Tickets for the fight haven’t been released yet but this will hopefully help prepare some for the inevitable shock that will come with the price of admission. The fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather is one that boxing fans have been anticipating for ages and it’s doubtful that the MGM will have any problems selling tickets to the fight, no matter the price.
