Wayne Rooney is not in the good graces of the powers that be. The Manchester United striker was caught on camera swearing after completing his hat trick Saturday during United’s win against Upton Park on Saturday. You can view the video below.
Rooney issued a formal apology for his reaction, which he claimed came “in the heat of the moment”. Being it is not the first time the wonder striker has been in trouble the FIFA dsciplinary panel slapped a 2 game ban for “offensive, insulting and/or abusive language”.
Rooney now has until 6pm tomorrow to respond to the charge, but if the ban stands he would miss Saturday’s home game with Fulham and the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City at Wembley.
