Consider this a warning and PSA if you’re at the Tour de France. Please get out of the riders way during the race. Some fans’ indiscriminate and egotistical need to take pictures as close to the action as possible has already led to one rider being unable to further compete in the race and that still hasn’t stopped the madness.
Tour de France riders complain of spectator selfies in middle of road. “Vanity and stupidity.” http://t.co/8B2H00d5TA pic.twitter.com/CrDbaTCaq2

Maybe this will help get people to reconsider where they choose to park themselves during the race.
Maybe it was frustration. Maybe it was karma. Whatever it was, this biker made it very clear that its up to the people watching the event to get out of the way of the cyclists, not the other way around.
Hate to say a guy had it coming but… he had it coming. It’s ridiculous that competitive riders have to take evasive action to evade spectators in one of cycling’s most prestigious races.
