No one has heard of Dan Olsen, but his name is making the rounds after an interesting conversation on a Michigan radio station over the weekend.
It appears that he has only appeared in a handful of PGA events over the last two decades, including the 2011 PGA Championship, where he shot 15-over and failed to make the cut. His PGA profile states he is a PGA Teaching Professional at Walnut Hills Country Club in East Lansing, Michigan but, aside from that PGA appearance in 2011, has not regularly played on the Tour since the mid-1990’s
You can now see why people don’t have a clue who this guy is, but your name is bound to generate some buzz when you start discussing Tiger Woods and a possible suspension. During his visit to The Game 730AM radio show in East Lansing, Olsen revealed that Woods might not actually be sitting out but instead serving a suspension for a failed drug test. He also claims Woods may have been using outlawed equipment on the course.
It is definitely worth a listen:
