The folks at Larry Brown Sports unearthed this pretty intense video showing Roberto Nelson shattering a backboard while playing an organized game in Skopje, Macedonia. It took 20 stitches to repair his face. The magic happens about 2 minutes and 15 seconds into the video, and it isn’t for those with a weak stomach. Berto & 14 other Oregon State Student athletes were in the country as part of a “Beavers without Borders” service based trip where they constructed a second story addition for a local family in need.
