Premier League’s Fulham Football Club has unveiled a Michael Jackson statue in front of its stadium. The club’s chairman, Mohamed Al Fayed, was good buddies with MJ and he wants to honor his pal. The statue has been a bit of a polarizing issue for Fulham fans, by Al Fayed says anyone who doesn’t like it can pick a new team to root for.
“Why is it bizarre?” he said. “Football fans love it. If some stupid fans don’t understand and appreciate such a gift, they can go to hell.
“I don’t want them to be fans. If they don’t understand and don’t believe in things I believe in, they can go to Chelsea, they can go to anywhere else.”
