Paul Pierce was ejected for setting a pick on Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat during Game 1 of their 2011 NBA Playoff Eastern Conference second round playoff series against the Boston Celtics. I’m no officiating genius but this one seemed a bit excessive, especially considering Boston was actually creating a game down the stretch when this happened. Not sure what Paul said to get ejected but I’m pretty positive Paul wasn’t saying that he was sorry to D-Wade for setting a hard screen.
