Something tells me that there will be an apology coming soon from the New York Post. Check out todays cover (October 21st, 2011) which essentially combines two storylines and a nasty dig to A-Rod for the shock effect. We at Cosby Sweaters think we have a decent sense of humor, but we are even a little wary about this move. The headline of the cover, which claims the death of Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi, “Khadafy Killed By Yankee’s Fan” has a picture of a man wearing a Yankees hat holding a gun pointed at the late Libyan leader (who may or may not have made the kill), has a picture of a dying Muammar al-Qaddafi, and to top it off has another line stating “Gunman Had More Hits Than A-Rod.”
Do you think they went too far, or no?
