Mitch Mustain was arrested late Tuesday night and held on a felony narcotics charge, Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson Bruce Borihanh confirmed Wednesday. The former USC quarterback now is free on bail and the police have confirmed that he was arrested on suspicion of selling prescription narcotics.
“The arrest occurred shortly after 8 p.m. PT Tuesday by the West Valley division of the LAPD, and Mustain was later booked at the Van Nuys jail at 10:44 p.m.”
Unfortunately, Mitch has seemingly created a fitting ending to a very disappointing college football career. Coming out of high school , Mustain was heavily sought after. He showed signs of promise at Arkansas and transferred to USC in 2007 where he only started one game in 4 seasons with the Trojans. Mitch was preparing for the NFL Draft in which it was a stretch that he would have landed a full-time gig, even without this latest incident.
The hits keep coming for USC, especially after Everson Griffen’s latest incident.
