The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (NAHL) forgot some very important pieces of equipment as they traveled to Corpus Christi, Texas to take on the IceRays: their jerseys.
Somehow, the Killer Bees and their equipment managers forgot to pack their uniforms for the road trip and, as a result, had to borrow the IceRays’ road sweaters for the game. As you can see from the photos, it made for a pretty interesting scene that looked much like an intra-squad scrimmage.
However, the game counted and the IceRays won 2-1. Both teams will play again on Friday night in Rio Grande, where the Killer Bees will hopefully be wearing their own uniforms.
