Michigan and Michigan State combined to bring The Big Chill to The Big House setting an all-time hockey record with 113,411 in attendance. The Wolverines enjoyed got the best of the day with a 5-0 thumping of the Spartans but both teams will be in the record books as this was also the all-time attendance record for any event at Michigan Stadium (get on it Rich Rod!).
