Mark Cuban has moved forward in a big way towards his goal of instituting a college football playoff instead of the current controversial BCS system in place. The billionaire NBA owner and outspoken entrepreneur started “Radical Football LLC” in order to “to impact college football so that the last two teams playing are the best two teams.”
The LLC was filed for in late December and it is reported that Brett Morris who was president of a national marketing agency focused on sporting goods is on board and working already.
This is great news for most college football fans who have been frustrated since the BCS’ inception. The question remains on how to properly structure the playoff, the monetary issues involved, and TV rights.
