Golf Digest has been known to pull some, shall we say, ‘interesting’ cover tactics to sell magazines in the past – including featuring Johnny Manziel, pro football player, and Paulina Gretzky, fiancé of Dustin Johnson – but their latest one might ruffle a few feathers.
The publication’s latest issue features 20-year old LPGA pro Lexi Thompson on the cover…topless. Thompson is the cover girl for the magazine’s annual Fitness & Power Issue and she leaves little to the imagination with the help of a towel. We’re certainly not complaining, but it may be seen as somewhat controversial among the straitlaced golf community.
