Joel Parkinson is one of the best surfers in the world, but he needs to work on his jet ski hanging-on abilities.
During Thursday’s second round of the WSL’s Oi Rio Pro, Joel was on his way out to the lineup had a little trouble doing so. As you can see from the video, Parkinson was sitting on the back of the ski and as the ski tried to make it over a wave it bounced Joel a few feet in the air.
Everyone was just fine after the incident, but Parko did end up losing the heat to Hawaii’s Keanu Asing.
