Horse racing is one of the more quietly dangerous sports in the world, as both the horses and jockeys are at extreme risk of serious injury as they barrel around the track amongst a dozen other competitors.
Although jockeys can usually employ certain tactics and maneuvers to keep themselves and their horse away from impending dangers, there are times when those things aren’t applicable or simply don’t work, as was the case with this guy. Watch as he begins to lose his grip atop the horse and appears to elect for a bail out before the wall.
