Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. is a special prospect who fits the mold perfectly to what team’s want out of modern NBA big men. Despite checking in at 6’11”, Jackson Jr. can score in multiple ways, including a great three-point game.
The Michigan State alum’s long-range shooting was on full display in his first Summer League action against the Atlanta Hawks, as the 18-year-old hit a ridiculous buzzer-beating three-point shot from halfcourt to end the first half.

Making it count, even more, Jackson Jr. followed up the shot with a Steph Curry-esque shimmy. While his dance skills could use work, you got to love the confidence on display from the talented teenager.
Jackson Jr. finished the half with 13 points in 11 minutes in an impressive debut for the Grizzlies. He flashed real potential and should have fans in Memphis excited to see how his game could blossom. The potential for stardom is unquestionably there.
