Eddie Gordon, a senior at Timberline High School (Boise, ID) who was born with with Down syndrome, has been the team’s bat boy for the past two season. However, on Senior Night, in a game against Centennial High School, “Fast” Eddie was penciled in as the leadoff hitter. After making contact with a pitch, Eddie rounded the bases and scored with his teammates waiting there to congratulate him and lift him off the field.
