There’s not a whole lot of context provided with this GIF, but apparently it comes from a recent high school hockey game and shows a player on the red team attempting to make a run at the puck-possessing player in white after a whistle. Instead of laying a brutal illegal hit on his opponent, however, the kid in red goes face-first into the boards…hard.
That, my friends, is what we here on the Internets like to call “instant karma.”
I’m interested to know what happened leading up to this point, but taking a run at somebody like that is highly dangerous and absolutely inexcusable. As far as I’m concerned, this kid got what he had comin’ to him.
