Chris Carpenter

Achievements After Injury: NL Cy Young Award, NL Comeback Player of the Year, World Series Champions, ERA Champion
While with Toronto, Carpenter spent most time on the DL list. He had a shoulder injury, leading to surgery to fix a torn glenoid labrum. In 2007 Carpenter, tore his UCL, resulting in Tommy John surgery. After his return, in 2009 he had an oblique tear, forcing him to miss another month. He came back, pitched for most of the season and won Comeback Player of the Year. In 2011 he and his team won the World Series, he pitched in three games.
