Volyn and Shakhtar Donetsk squared off this past weekend and things came to a head during the second half. Volyn goalkeeper Vitaliy Nedilko came out to the edge of the box and in the process of going after the ball he absolutely nailed Luiz Adriano’s face with his knee. Nedilko was red-carded and replaced (for delivering the knee) by Marcelo Moreno after only 16 minutes into the game. Watch the video below for the knee to face to ground action. Volyn dominated Shakhtar 4-0 on Sunday with goals from Jadson and Alex Teixeira.
