The first surfing kickflip that I have seen on film happened on March 4th at the Volcom contest. Zoltan Torkos was the gentleman who pulled off the feat at Steamers Lane in Santa Cruz CA. He told the media that he had been practicing for 4 years. The time was well worth it as he raked in 10k from Volcom for pulling it off.
