Back in July I attended a MMA referee training course to get certified to officiate local MMA events and one of the biggest topics that was talked about was – what happens if a fighter wants to fight the ref? We never did get a clear answer on how to handle the situation if it happened but maybe its because Lee Ambler wasn’t teaching the class.
If Lee Ambler was teaching the class he would probably instruct any future referee to jump the ropes like Marty Jannety and deliver a Scott Steiner suplex to the rule breaker like he did here.
