On Friday, Rory McIlroy temporarily threw a fit when he sailed a ball into the water at Doral by tossing his club violently into the lake.
The next day, a scuba diver was sent to retrieve Rory’s club. Turns out, the man responsible for the retrieval mission wasn’t Rory nor some crazed-scuba fan. No, the man who felt that Rory had to get his water-bound three iron back was none other than Donald Trump.

The club was returned to McIlroy by Trump on Sunday. Rory plans to give the club back to Trump so that it can either be put up for display at the clubhouse or auctioned off for charity.
“We could auction it off to charity or we could put it in a trophy case here at Doral,” Trump said. “I give a lot of money to charity so I think we’ll have the club mounted and placed in the clubhouse somewhere.”
