David Goodwillie, of Dundee United, made a solid effort at matching Rooney’s wonder-goal from earlier this year against Motherwell this past Sunday. Goodwillie took a cross-pitch pass and perfectly timed a bicycle kick for a game tying goal. David’s goal tied the game at 2’s where it stayed until the final whistle. Great effort and goal, but Rooney still owns the goal of the year.
