I’m not sure what the Missouri Mavericks’ mascot, Mac, did to Mark Guggenberger, goaltender for the CHL’s Allen Americans, but there’s apparently no love lost between the two. Guggenberger made sure that was known when he delivered a textbook slewfoot to Mac before a recent game, remorselessly putting the horse on his ass as he skated towards his net.
Because that type of thing is generally frowned upon, Guggenberger was hit with an undisclosed fine as a result of his horsing around. See what I did there? Yup, I’ll go ahead and see myself out.
