If you’ve got a problem with Chelsea forward Didier Drogba then he has a problem with you. Apparently one home field fan was not impressed with Drogba’s decision to take a short corner at the end of Chelsea’s 1:1 tie with Stoke and let him know quite vocally. As a result Didier skipped the post-game handshakes and went straight over to see about some more direct communication with the home crowd:
Drogba and Chelsea can count themselves lucky the fan didn’t take him up on the offer as there would likely have been serious repercussions. No word on if there will be any league penalties for the behavior but I would suggest that in the future security not just stand there watching such exchanges happen.
