Being President of the United States is, without a doubt, an incredibly demanding job but that doesn’t mean that POTUS is immune from hearing what people say about them.
So, it may not come as too much of a surprise that word had gotten to President Barack Obama that his golf game had recently gotten trashed by Michael Jordan during an interview with Ahmad Rashad.
Obama’s response to being called a “hack” and a “shitty golfer”, which he gave on WJMR on Monday, was pretty great in all of its complimentary-insulting glory:
“But there is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case.”
…
“He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats — or the Hornets.”
Bam. One of the perks of being president is reminding everyone else that you are the most busy and powerful man in the free world and they are not.
