This has got to be a first in the world of coaching injuries. According to the PR folks for the Arena Football League Jacksonville Sharks, their head coach Les Moss has injured himself by stepping on hot concrete.
The Sharks have a game on 16th and Les will be there to coach, but he will be coaching from the booth above the field and call in plays via radio. Apparently stepping on the hot concrete was so bad, he suffered burns on the bottoms of his feet. According to Jacksonville.com: Moss suffered third-degree burns last Sunday at a neighbor’s pool.
Coach Moss spoke very briefly on the incident saying: “I always wear shoes and the one time I didn’t … I won’t do that again,”
Good thoughts with @jaxsharks coach Les Moss. Suffered burns on his feet and will coach from booth.
