Andrew Bynum left the game injured this evening when the Lakers squared off against the San Antonio Spurs in Los Angeles. Bynum stepped on the foot of DeJuan Blair and rolled his ankle/leg. First word from the Laker locker room is that it is a hyper-extended right knee. He will not return return to the ballgame and will not accompany the team to their next game in Sacramento. He is scheduled to have a MRI in the morning. The debate over to rest your starters down the stretch will surely come into play as the Spurs sat their starters as did the Celtics the night before. Steve Blake also sat out the game for the Lakers with the chicken pox.
