Many people were predicting a shocking retirement for Maria Sharapova when she held a press conference on Monday afternoon in Los Angeles.
She did not retire, instead saying he failed drug tests at the Australian Open. She did, make an odd and somewhat amusing reference to the ugly carpet at the hotel:
