Google chose September 27 as its birthday 13 years ago. Google arbitrarily chose the date back in September of 2005 due to some important milestones it reached in September months. Google registered the Google.com domain on September 15th, 1997. Google incorporated as a company on September 7th, 1998. Not sure what the significance of September 27th is, but to them it’s Google’s birthday.
