Pepsi wants to replace its traditional vending machines with its new Social Vending System. Now instead of simply getting a drink, you can send video messages and gift Pepsi beverages to friends. If you see a line of people backed up behind one of these machines it’s not because it’s fascinating, it’s because they’re more confused than I am. This is social taking a step backwards.
