England’s Premier
Manchester United 1 Southampton 1
Moyes’ woes continue as the Saints will march home with a well-deserved point at Old Trafford. After a first half goal by RVP, Southampton looked every bit Manchester United’s equal. Dejan Lovren and Adam Lallana combined to knock in a corner kick in the 89′ and the Saints fall out of the Top Four, but their surprising start is one of the league’s best early season storylines.
Arsenal 4 Norwich City 1

The Spurs supporter in me makes it hard to admit, but cannot deny the beauty of this 1-2-1-2 golazo by the Gunners. Jack Wilshire and Oliver Giroud’s precise combination led to one of the prettier goals that you will see this season. Norwich closed the gap to 2-1 with a 70′ goal from Jonathan Howson, but another Aaron Ramsey scored another and the back end of a brace from Mesut Ozil finished off the Canaries.
Newcastle 2 Liverpool 2
A fascinating, well-played game that deserved a draw. Yohan Cabaye skipped one past Steve Mignolet from 30 yards, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa‘s red card in the box led to a Gerrard penalty, and Sturridge saved the side with an equalizer in the 72’.

Chelsea 4 Cardiff City 1
A couple of bizarre goals got this thing going with a Lazy Luiz moment and Samuel Eto’o questionable theft of the Cardiff keeper, but Chelsea pulled away for a comfortable three points.
West Ham 1 Manchester City 3
Sergio Aguero scored a pair and Silva was his usual special self as City cruised to victory at Upton Park.
Swansea City 4 Sunderland 0
Sunderland is just so bad. Poor, poor Jozy.
Everton 2 Hull City 1
Steven Pienaar scored only a minute after subbing into the game, in what turned out to be the match winner for the Toffees.
Stoke City 0 West Brom 0
Despite the meh result, this match had some exciting moments, namely the extra time 1 v 1 save by Stoke’s Asmir Begovic.
Elsewhere in Europe
PSG 4 Bastia 0
Ibra and Cavani continued their run through Ligue 1 with each scoring twice and delivering a golazo a piece. Just wonder when they’ll be able to find a way to get both on to the pitch at the same time.

Real Madrid 2 Malaga 0
Goals from Di Maria and Ronaldo was enough for Madrid, who also saw Gareth Bale return with a cameo following his ongoing injury issues.
Osasuna 0 Barcelona 0
Despite Messi returning to the lineup, Barca failed to score and saw their winning streak come to an end at eight.
Bayern Munich 4 Mainz 1
Mainz took a lead with a goal just before the half, but Bayern responded with four the second half to continue their unbeaten streak to nine games.
Borussia Dortmund 1 Hannover 0
Marco Reus drew a penalty in the fourth minute, leading to the only goal the game saw.
AC Milan 1 Udinese 0
Ahead of their Champions League matchup with Barcelona midweek, Valter Birsa scored early and the Rossoneri held on for the victory.
Golazo du Jour
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (PSG) v Bastia
Arsenal might have an argument here, or his teammate Edison, but I can’t say no to Zlatan’s flick.
