KickTV created a very thorough parody video of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with MLS MVP Mike Magee, USMNT player Omar Gonzalez along with Hope Solo and Sydney Leroux from the U.S. Women’s Team.
Magee plays the lead role at Ferris in Mike Magee’s Day Off, while Gonzalez rolls around in a mint L.A Kings Gretzky jersey as Cameron. Solo is Magee’s Charlie Sheen-loving sister and Leroux arrives as the always scintillating Sloane Peterson.
While the spoof doesn’t scratch the surface of epic proportions that Matthew Broderick and Alan Ruck created with the 1986 movie, it is very well done and loaded with excellent cameos, including Thierry Henry, Bruce Arena and Michael Bradley.
