On Sunday, John Oliver tackled three of his favorite subjects on Last Week Tonight – FIFA, Russia and McDonald’s – and it was unsurprisingly glorious.
Of course, the sight of Sepp Blatter complimenting Vladimir Putin for his hospitality is the type of stuff that doesn’t even need to be skewered at this point but one can’t blame Oliver for leaping at the opportunity.
Still, nothing beats Oliver coming up with new and inventive ways to describe McDonald’s food – from the chain’s “grayish brown meat circles,” to the “Shamrock Shake aka A Leprechaun’s Diarrhea.”
